The 50 million / Static Faction split 7" was originally released in 1996.
In 1996 Shell played in 50 million and Shag played in Static Faction, they had known each other for 1 year. Although in seperate bands and not a couple, this 7" was the still first record Shell and Shag put out together. in a way, this was the very first Shellshag record, since it is the first record Shell and Shag produced together. After selling out of a limited edition pressing of 500, a second pressing was issued and was released in a green cover. During the second pressing's time period, the record was selected to be a part of the rare pizza box set released by Poverty Records titled "Vvia La Mission"
that also included 7" records by Hickey, Fuckface, Lost Goat, Thunderchimp, Faggz, along with the 50 million Static Faction split.
